Hotel El Convento
This building has over 360 years of history and tradition. It was the first Carmelite Convent in the Americas. The building was expanded between 1854 and 1861 after the original structure was demolished. Governor Fernando de Norzagaray helped to raise the necessary funds to rebuild it. In 1963 it opened as a hotel.
